Olivia B. Waxman is a candidate for an M.S. degree in Digital Media from Columbia Journalism School. She has written for TIME.com, Talking Points Memo (TPM), and NY1 NEWS. An honors Government major, she graduated cum laude from Hamilton College in upstate New York and received the 2011 Senior Prize in Government. She grew up in New York City.
